Abstract:Objective:To analyze the value of diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI)combined with multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant liver nodules.Method:A total of 107 patients with liver nodules admitted to Songzi People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were examined by DWI and MSCT,and the diagnostic efficiency of single and combined diagnosis of the two methods was analyzed with postoperative pathological results as the"gold standard",and the imaging conditions of patients in benign and malignant were compared.Result:Through pathological examination,48 cases were benign and 59 cases were malignant. There were 35 cases of true benign and 44 cases of true malignant detected by MSCT.DWI showed that there were 37 cases of true benign and 48 cases of true malignant.Combined detection showed that there were 47 cases of true benign and 57 cases of true malignant. The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of combined detection in liver malignant nodules were 97.20%,96.61%and 97.92%,which were higher than those of single detection, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The surface permeability(PS),blood volume and blood flow in malignant group were higher than those in benign group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in mean transit time(MTT)between the two groups(P>0.05).In the aspect of apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC),the level of patients in malignant group was lower than that in benign group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:DWI combined with MSCT has positive value in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant liver nodules, which can effectively make diagnosis and provide meaningful guidance for subsequent treatment.
