Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of stretching therapy in the treatment of patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type and influence on muscle injury and discomfort.Method:A total of 86 patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type in Sanming Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected, and divided into control group 43 cases and observation group 43 cases by the random number table. The control group were treated with routine manipulation treatment, the observation group were treated with stretching therapy on the treatment of control group. The total effective rate of cervical spondylosis of neck type, muscle injury situation[apparent dispersion coefficient(ADC)value and anisotropy fraction(FA)value of sternocleidomastoid muscles and splenius muscle of head]and discomfort degree(sub-healthy neck discomfort symptom scale)of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment for cervical spondylosis in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there were no significant differences in ADC and FA values of sternocleidomastoid muscle and capitis muscle,as well as sub-healthy neck discomfort symptom scale scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After 2 courses of treatment,ADC value of sternocleidomastoid muscle and capitis muscle and sub-health neck discomfort symptom scale score in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group, and FA value of sternocleidomastoid muscle and capitis muscle were significantly higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of stretching therapy in the treatment of patients with cervical spondylosis of neck type is better, and it can effectively control the muscle injury and discomfort of patients.
