Study on Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Efficacy Differences of Allergic Rhinitis Patients in Different Age Groups

Abstract：Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and treatment efficacy differences of allergic rhinitis patients in different age groups.Method:A total of 120 patients with allergic rhinitis who admitted to Beijing Haidian Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into two groups according to the age of the included patients,60 cases in each group.The symptom score,quality of life,treatment compliance,immunological indexes and recurrence rate were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment,the symptom scores and quality of life scores of two groups decreased,and the improvement of the non-adult group were more significant,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total treatment compliance rate of the non-adult group was higher than that of the adult group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the IgE levels of two groups decreased,and the improvement of the non-adult group was more significant,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the recurrence rate between two groups within 6 months after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Patients with allergic rhinitis in different age groups have different clinical characteristics and different therapeutic effects,individualized treatment plans should be formulated according to age characteristics to improve the therapeutic effect and quality of life of patients.
