Abstract:Objective:To explore the diagnostic efficacy of Free Anatomical Imaging(OmniView)and Transvaginal two-dimensional ultrasono-graphy(2D-TVS)for different degrees of intrauterine adhesions.Method:A total of 86 patients with suspected IUA admitted to Qingyuan Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University(Qingyuan People's Hospital)from May 2022 to May 2023 were retrospectively selected as the study objects. All patients underwent 2D-TVS examination,OmniView examination and hysteroscopy.Using the results of hysteroscopy as the gold standard, the diagnostic efficacy of 2D-TVS and OmniView for IUA was compared.Result:Of the 86 suspected IUA patients,62 were confirmed by hysteroscopy and 24 were non-IUA patients. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of OmniView detection for IUA were higher than those of 2D-TVS,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Kappa examination analysis showed that OmniView examination had a high consistency with hysteroscopy examination results, while 2D-TVS examination had a general consistency with hysteroscopy examination results. The sensitivity of OmniView examination in diagnosing mild IUA and moderate IUA was higher than that of 2D-TVS,and the accuracy of diagnosis of mild IUA was higher than that of 2D-TVS,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The diagnostic efficiency of OmniView for different degrees of intrauterine adhesions is higher than that of 2D-TVS,and it has high consistency with hysteroscopy results, especially in the diagnosis of mild and moderate IUA.
