Clinical Study of Tretinoin Nasal Spray Combined with Nasal Endoscopic Surgery in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Sinusitis with Nasal Polyps

Abstract：Objective:To explore the efficacy of tretinoin nasal spray combined with nasal endoscopic surgery in patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps.Method:A total of 286 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps treated in Yidu People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into the exploration group and the routine group according to random number table method,with 143 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with nasal endoscopic surgery,and the exploratory group was treated with triamcinolone olone nasal spray.Nasal ventilation function,olfactory function,improvement of discomfort symptoms and complication rate were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,nasal cavity volume(NCV),nasal airway resistance(NAR),distance of minimal cross-sectional area to the nostril(DCAN)and minimum cross-sectional area(NMCA)in the exploration group were superior to those in the conventional group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The olfactory function of the inquiry group was better than that of the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of the improvement of discomfort symptoms,the disappearance time of nasal congestion,runny nose,olfactory disturbance,headache,tinnitus and other symptoms in the inquiry group was shorter than that in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the inquiry group was lower than that of the conventional group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combined application of triamcinolone acetonide nasal spray and nasal endoscopic surgery in the treatment of chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps can effectively improve the nasal ventilation and olfaction function of patients,shorten the disappearance time of discomfort symptoms,and reduce the incidence of complications.
