Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of pregabalin combined with semiconductor laser therapy on patients with acute herpes zoster and the effect on Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS)score.Method:A total of 78 patients with acute stage herpes zoster admitted to Tongshan District People's Hospital of Xuzhou City from February 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the study objects.Grouped according to different treatment methods, there were 39 cases were in both groups. The control group was treated with single pregabalin, and the observation group was treated with pregabalin combined with semiconductor laser. The clinical effects, changes of inflammatory factors, pain degree score[Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)],sleep quality[Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS)]and quality of life[Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI)]of the two groups were observed.Result:After 4 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)indexes in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time, the VAS score,AIS score and DLQI score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment effect of pregabalin combined with semiconductor laser on patients with acute herpes zoster is significant, not only the pain degree of patients can be quickly relieved, but also the level of inflammation can be reduced, and the quality of sleep and life of patients can be improved.
