Effect of Orthodontics Combined with Bone Level Implant Restoration on Masticatory Efficiency and Periodontal Health of Patients with Single Tooth Implant in Mandibular Posterior Region

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the application effect of orthodontics combined with bone level implant restoration in patients with single tooth implantation in mandibular posterior region.Method:60 patients with single dental implant in the mandibular posterior dental region admitted to the Stomatology Hospital Affiliated to the School of Medicine of Nanjing University from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received bone level implant restoration,and the observation group received orthodontic combined bone level implant restoration.The rate of good and good treatment,masticatory efficacy,periodontal health and subjective satisfaction were compared.Result:After 1 year of treatment,the rate of excellent and good treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The bilateral masseter muscle,temporal muscle and maximum biting force of the two groups at the maxium occlusion were higher than before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The plaque index,gingival sulcus bleeding index and probing depth were lower than before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The subjective satisfaction scores of 5 dimensions in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Orthodontic combined with bone level implant restoration has a significant therapeutic effect in the patients with single dental implant in the mandibular posterior region,which can effectively improve the masticatory efficiency,improve the periodontal health of the implant,and improve the subjective satisfaction of the patients
