Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of enteral nutrition preparation containing hydrolyzed whey protein on gastric cancer patients undergoing intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy.Method:100 patients with gastric cancer admitted to the First People's Hospital of Huai'an from January 2021 to June 2024 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 50 patients in each group. The patients in both groups were given intraperitoneal chemotherapy, and the control group was given routine enteral nutrition support, while the observation group was given enteral nutrition preparation containing hydrolyzed whey protein on the basis of the control group. After two weeks of treatment, the nutritional indexes[total protein(TP),hemoglobin(HB)and albumin(ALB)],malnutrition risk(NRS2002 risk assessment scale),gastrointestinal function(motilin and gastrin)and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the level of TP,HB and ALB in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of NRS2002 risk assessment scale in observation group was lower than that in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The level of motilin and gastrin in observation group were higher than those in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In gastric cancer patients undergoing intrabitoneal perfusion chemotherapy, the use of enteral nutrition preparations containing hydrolyzed whey protein can improve nutritional indexes, reduce the risk of malnutrition, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
