Abstract:Objective:To analyze and explore the therapeutic effect of Acetylcysteine Solution for Inhalation combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage in the treatment of persistent bacterial bronchitis in children.Method:A total of 98 children with protracted bacterial bronchitis admitted to the First Hospital of Sanming from May 2022 to May 2024 were randomly divided into observation group of 45 cases and control group of 53 cases. The control group was treated with anti-infection,expectorant drugs or mechanical expectoration, etc, the observation group was additionally treated with Acetylcysteine Solution for Inhalation combined with and bronchoscopic alveolar lavage. The therapeutic effect, course of antibiotic use, number of disease recurrence and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups.Result:The duration of symptoms and signs in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment course of antibiotics in the observation group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was 2.22%(1/45),which was lower than 16.98%(9/53)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 8.89%(4/45),which was not statistically significant compared with 13.21%(7/53)in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acetylcysteine Solution for Inhalation combined with bronchoscopic alveolar lavage can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of persistent bacterial bronchitis, reduce the duration of antibacterial drugs, reduce disease recurrence, and not increase the obvious adverse reactions.
