Abstract:Objective:To investigate the difference in the application effect of femoral neck system(FNS)and four cannulated compression screws(FCCS)internal fixation in the treatment of Pauwels type Ⅲ femoral neck fracture.Method:Sixty-eight patients with Pauwels tyep Ⅲfemoral neck fracture admitted to Yancheng Dafeng People's Hospital from February 2021 to February 2024 were selected and divided into FNS group(FNS internal fixation)and FCCS group(FCCS internal fixation)according to internal fixation methods,34 cases in each group. The perioperative indexes, reduction quality, femoral neck shortening and hip function were compared between the two groups.Result:The operative time and fracture healing time in FNS group were shorter than those in FCCS group, the intraoperative blood loss was more than that in FCCS group, and the degree of femoral neck shortening was less than that in FCCS group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in hospital stay and Garden para-index between the two groups(P>0.05).Six months after surgery, the Harris hip function scoreS of both groups were higher than those before surgery, and the FNS group was higher than that of FCCS group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The fracture reduction quality of FCCS and FNS for Pauwels type Ⅲ femoral neck fracture is consistent, the FCCS has the advantage of relatively less intraoperative blood loss, while FNS has the advantages of shorter operation time and fracture healing time, lighter femoral neck shortening and better hip function recovery.
