Abstract:Objective:To compare the clinical effects of microscope-assisted microchannel lumbar posterior fusion and traditional open surgery in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis.Method:Sixty patients with lumbar spinal stenosis who admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Qinzhou from June 2022 and June 2023 were selected as the research subjects, they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group using the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional open surgery, while the observation group was treated with microscope-assisted microchannel lumbar posterior fusion, the perioperative indicators, lumbar function, postoperative pain, complications and quality of life were compared between two groups.Result:The operation time of the observation group was longer than that of the control group, the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, and the time of getting out of bed and hospitalization were shorter than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)in the observation group at 1 month and 3 months after operation were higher than those in the control group, and the scores of visual analogue scale(VAS)in the observation group at 1 d and 1 month after operation were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between two groups(P>0.05);at 1 month after operation, the scores of short form 36 health survey(SF-36)in the two groups were higher than those before operation, and those in the observation group were higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the traditional open surgery, the effect of microscope-assisted microchannel lumbar posterior fusion in patients with lumbar spinal stenosis is definite,it has the advantages of less trauma, less bleeding, rapid postoperative recovery, and good safety.
