Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of bevacizumab in the treatment of platinum resistant recurrent advanced ovarian cancer.Method:A total of 80 patients with platinum-resistant recurrent advanced ovarian cancer treated in People's Hospital of Luotian County from December 2021 to December 2023 were selected as study objects, and divided into study group(n=40)and control group(n=40)according to random number table method. The control group was given paclitaxel chemotherapy, and the study group was given bevacizumab combined with paclitaxel chemotherapy. The clinical efficacy, serum indexes, quality of life and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The disease control rate(DCR)and objective response rate(ORR)of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of Human Epidrdymis protein 4(HE4),carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in two groups were decreased, and the levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Karnofsky Performance Status Scale(KPS)score of the two groups increased, and the study group was higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in study group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Bevacizumab is used in the treatment of platinum-resistant recurrent advanced ovarian cancer, which can improve clinical efficacy, promote quality of life, and have high safety. Its mechanism of action may be related to inhibiting the expression of tumor markers and improving VEGF levels.
