Abstract:Objective:To explore the predictive value of C-reactive protein combined with eosinophils for adverse transfusion reactions.Method:Clinical data of 160 blood transfusion patients admitted to the Second Hospital of Sanming from January 2020 to December 2023 was retrospectively analyzed, and divided into observation group(adverse blood transfusion reaction accurred,n=88)and control group(no adverse blood transfusion reaction,n=72)according to whether there was adverse blood transfusion reaction. The changes and correlation of CRP and eosinophils before and after transfusion were analyzed in the two groups, and the value of CRP combined with eosinophils in predicting transfusion adverse reactions was evaluated.Result:The difference of CRP and eosinophils in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Multifactor analysis showed that CRP difference and eosinophil difference were risk factors for adverse blood transfusion reactions(P<0.05).Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)showed that the sensitivity and specificity of the combined test for the diagnosis of adverse blood transfusion reactions were 0.918 and 0.817,respectively,and the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.906,which was significantly higher than that predicted by alone, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The difference of CRP and eosinophils before and after transfusion can predict the occurrence of adverse reactions after transfusion, and the combination of CRP and eosinophils is more valuable.
