Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effects of transcranial direct current stimulation on upper limb motor function recovery and prognosis in patients with stroke-induced upper limb motor impairment.Method:A total of 86 patients with upper limb motor dysfunction after stroke admitted to Liangzhou Hospital of Wuwei City from March 2019 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the method of computer random number table, the patients were divided into control group and study group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, while the experimental group received transcranial direct current stimulation technology. The effect of upper limb motor function recovery, hand function level, somatosensory evoked potential and EMG level of the affected upper limb were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the scores of Fugl-Meyer Assessment Upper Extremity Scale(FMA-UE),Simple Test For Evaluating Hand Function(STEF)and Carroll Upper Extremity Function Test(UEFT)in experimental group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Wolf Motor Function Test Scale(WMFT)score in experimental group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The amplitude of N20 in the affected upper limb of the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, and the incubation period was shorter, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The integrated electromyography(iEMG)of the forearm extensor muscle group, deltoid muscle and triceps muscle of the affected side of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In the rehabilitation treatment of stroke patients with upper limb motor dysfunction, transcranial direct current stimulation can improve the recovery effect of upper limb motor function, improve hand function level, and promote the recovery of somatosensory evoked potential and EMG level of the affected upper limb.
