Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of multi-disciplinary team(MDT)rehabilitation nursing on gastrointestinal function recovery and quality of life in patients with colon cancer after surgery.Method:A total of 100 patients with colon cancer after surgery who admitted to Xiamen Haicang Hospital from March 2019 to March 2023 were selected as the research objects, the patients were divided into the control group(n=49,using routine nursing intervention)and the observation group(n=51,using MDT rehabilitation nursing intervention)according to the random number table method. The recovery times of gastrointestinal function were compared between two groups, the rehabilitation exercise compliance scale and functional assessment of cancer therapy(FACT)were used to evaluate the rehabilitation exercise compliance and quality of life of two groups before and after the intervention, and the incidence of complications were compared between two groups.Result:The first anal exhaust time after surgery and bowel sound recovery time in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention, the scores of each dimension of the rehabilitation exercise compliance scale and each part of the FACT scale in two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:MDT rehabilitation nursing can promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function, improve the compliance of rehabilitation exercise, improve the quality of life and reduce the incidence of complications in patients with colon cancer after surgery.
