Effect of Tanreqing Injection Adjuvant Therapy on Patients with Phlegm Heat Resistance Lung Syndrome Pneumonia

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of Tanreqing Injection adjuvant therapy on patients with phlegm heat resistance lung syndrome pneumonia.Method:A total of 96 pneumonia patients admitted to the Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Zhanjiang City from December 2020 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using the random number table,48 cases in each group.The control group received conventional western medicine treatment,while the experimental group received combination of Tanreqing Injection on this basis.The two groups were compared in terms of symptom relief time,lung function,inflammatory response,and blood gas indicators.Result:The duration of fever reduction,lung moist rale relief time,expectoration relief time and cough relief time in the experimental group were earlier than those in the control group,and the forced expiratory volume in one second(FVC),maximum mid-expiratory flow(MMF),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),maximum resting expiratory pressure(PEmax),blood oxygen partial pressure(PaO2)and blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)in experimental group were higher than those in the control group,the partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2),interleukin(IL)-6,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and IL-8 were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tanreqing Injection as an adjuvant therapy can alleviate inflammation,improve lung function and blood gas indicators,and accelerate symptom relief in patients with phlegm heat resistance lung syndrome pneumonia.
