Clinical Effect of Modified Zuojin Pills Combined with Omeprazole in the Treatment of Reflux Pharyngitis

Abstract：Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Modified Zuojin Pills combined with Omeprazole in the treatment of reflux pharyngitis,and to provide a favorable reference for future clinical treatment.Method:Eighty-six patients with reflux pharyngitis admitted to Capital Medical University Affiliated Beijing Tongren Hospital Mentougou Hospital from March 2019 to May 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method.The control group(n=43)was treated with Omeprazole,and the observation group(n=43)was treated with Modified Zuojin Pills on the basis of Omeprazole.The therapeutic effect,laryngeal mucous pepsin concentration,reflux symptom index scale(RSI)score,reflux finding scale(RFS)score,symptom score,signs score and gastrointestinal hormone index before and after treatment of the two groups were compared,and adverse reactions during medication was recorded.Result:The total effective rate was 93.02%(40/43)in the observation group,which was higher than 69.77%(30/43)in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The laryngeal mucus pepsin concentration,RSI scores,RFS scores,symptom scores,sign scores,pepsinogen Ⅰ(PGⅠ)and gastrin stimulating hormone(GAS)levels in the two groups after treatment were all lower than those before treatment,and the indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,motilin(MTL)were higher than those before treatment,and the observation group was higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate was 11.63%(5/43)in the observation group and 6.98%(3/43)in the control group,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Modified Zuojin Pills combined with Omeprazole can further improve the symptoms and signs of patients with reflux pharyngitis,regulate gastrointestinal hormones,improve the efficacy and safety.
