Abstract:Objective:To explore the study of information-based health education in the comfort nursing of elderly parturients during perioperative period.Method:The clinical data of 66 elderly parturient women admitted in Fenyang Hospital of Shanxi Province from February 2020 to May 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.33 parturient women who received conventional health education regimen for intervention from February 2020 to December 2022 were set as conventional group, and 33 parturient women who adopted information-based health education intervention from January 2023 to May 2024 were regarded as information-based group. The childbirth self-efficacy[short form of Chinese childbirth self-efficacy inventory(CBSEI-C32)],pregnancy pressure[pregnancy pressure scale(PPS)],delivery outcomes(postpartum hemorrhage, placental abruption, neonatal asphyxia),comfort[general comfort questionnaire(GCQ)]and nursing satisfaction were observed in conventional group and information-based group.Result:The CBSEI-C32 scores in information-based group and conventional group were increased after intervention, and the CBSEI-C32 scores in information-based group were higher than those in conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The PPS scores were decreased in information-based group and conventional group after intervention, and the PPS scores were lower in information-based group than those in conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence rates of adverse delivery outcomes in information-based group were lower than those in conventional group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The GCQ score and total nursing satisfaction rate in information-based group were significantly higher than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Information-based health education can improve the self-efficacy level of elderly parturient women during perioperative period, relieve the pregnancy pressure and prevent the total incidence rate of adverse delivery outcomes, and it is helpful to enhance the perioperative comfort.
