Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effect of needle knife therapy combined with functional training in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis.Method:A total of 60 patients with knee osteoarthritis who treated in Fujian Provincial Geriatric Hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects, the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by random number table method,30 cases in each group. Two groups were given functional training, the control group was treated with Celecoxib Capsules orally, the observation group was treated with needle knife therapy. The therapeutic effect, pain degree, joint function, inflammatory factors and rectus femoris thickness under ultrasound were compared between two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the visual analogue scale(VAS)score and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)in the observation group after treatment were lower than those in the control group, the Lysholm score was higher than that in the control group, and the rectus femoris thickness under ultrasound was greater than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination treatment of needle knife combined with functional training for patients with knee osteoarthritis is effective, which can help alleviate pain, reduce anti-inflammatory,and promote joint function improvement, increase the the rectus femoris thickness under ultrasound.
