Clinical Efficacy of Budesonide Fomotro Powder Inhalation Combined with Montelukast Sodium in the Treatment of Bronchial Asthma

Abstract：Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of budesonide and fomoterol fumarate powder for Inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of bronchial asthma(BA)and its impact on lung function and peak velocity changes.Method:82 BA patients admitted to Dongguan Kanghua Hospital from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group using a random number table extraction method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with budesonide and fomoterol fumarate powder for Inhalation,while the observation group was treated with a combination of montelukast sodium tablets on this basis.The clinical outcomes of two groups were evaluated.The frequency of asthma attacks,changes in lung function,inflammatory factors,T lymphocyte subpopulation,as well as adverse reactions and recurrence were compared between two groups.Result:Compared with the control group,the observation group had fewer episodes 1 week,2 weeks,and 4 weeks after treatment,and had a higher overall effective rate,and had a lower recurrence rate after six months of follow-up,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the forced expiratory volume(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC),peak expiratory velocity(PEF),FEV1/FVC,interleukin-10(IL-10),CD3+,CD4+,and CD4+/CD8+in both groups were significantly increased compared with those before treatment,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group(P＜0.05),and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and CD8+were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Budesonide and fomoterol fumarate powder for Inhalation combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of BA can achieve satisfactory therapeutic effects,effectively control asthma attacks,reduce airway inflammatory reactions,effectively improving lung function and immune function,prevent recurrence,and have good safety.
