Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with procaterol hydrochloride in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children.Method:A total of 68 children with mycoplasma pneumonias diagnosed in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from September 2022 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 34 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional therapy, the control group was given ambroxol hydrochloride, while the observation group was treated with procaterol hydrochloride on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, symptom disappearance time, the level of inflammatory factors and immunoglobulin before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of symptom disappearance in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the comparsion of inflammatory factors and immunoglobulin between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the level of inflammatory factors in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the level of immunoglobulin was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combined application of ambroxol hydrochloride and procaterol hydrochloride in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children is effective which can effectively promote the disappearance of symptoms as soon as possible, reduce inflammation and enhance inmune function.
