Abstract:Objective:To observe and explore the clinical effect of betahistine hydrochloride combined with ginkgo biloba extract on patients with vascular vertigo.Method:A total of 106 patients with vasogenic vertigo admitted to the Luochuan County Hospital from February 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group(treated with betahistine hydrochloride,53 cases)and observation group(treated with betahistine hydrochloride plus ginkgo biloba extract,53 cases)according to random number method. The total effective rate, cerebral arterial blood flow, plasma fibrinogen(FIB),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),C-reactive protein(CRP),serum amylase and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no difference in the comparison of cerebral artery blood flow,FIB,ESR,VEGF,CRP,and serum amylase levels between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the cerebral artery blood flow and VEGF of the patients in the two groups increased, and the levels of FIB,ESR,CRP and serum amylase decreased. The cerebral artery blood flow and VEGF of the patients in the test group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of FIB,ESR,CRP,and the serum amylase in the test group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the comparison of adverse reactions between the two group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Betahistine hydrochloride combined with ginkgo biloba extract can further increase cerebral artery blood flow, improve the levels of FIB,ESR and VEGF,and reduce inflammatory reaction in patients with vascular vertigo. It has definite clinical efficacy and is safe to use.
