Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effects of ipratropium bromide, acetylcysteine combined with budesonide aerosol on serum inflammatory factors and lung function in children with chronic cough.Method:96 children with chronic cough admitted to the Lianjiang Health Center for Women and Children from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into Group A,Group B and Group C by using the random number table method, with 32 cases in each group.Group A was treated with ipratropium bromide+budesonide aerosol inhalation,Group B was treated with acetyl cysteine+budesonide aerosol inhalation therapy, and Group C was treated with Ipratropium bromide and acetylcysteine combined with budesonide. These groups all were treated for 1 month. The therapeutic effect, cough score, inflammatory response, lung function[forced lung capacity(FVC),maximum expiratory peak flow rate(PEF),maximum expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),FEV1/FVC],and incidence of adverse reactions of the three groups were compared.Result:There was no statistically significant difference in the comparsion of total effective rate among the three treatment groups(P>0.05).Compared with Group A and B,the total effective rate of treatment in Group C was higher, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in cough scores among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in cough scores among the three groups(P<0.05).The cough score of Group C was lower than that of Group A and Group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in comparsion of procalcitonin(PCT),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP)and interleukin-8(IL-8)among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the comparsion of serum inflammatory factor levels of the three groups were significantly different(P<0.05),and Group C was lower than Group A and Group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in comparsion of FVC,PEF,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the pulmonary function indexes of the three groups were significantly different(P<0.05),and Group C was higher than Group A and group B,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with Group A and Group B,and the incidence of adverse reactions in Group C had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of ipratropium bromide, acetylcysteine, and budesonide nebulization has a significant effect on the treatment of chronic cough in children. It can alleviate cough symptoms, reduce serum inflammatory factor levels, improve lung function, and does not significantly increase drug adverse reactions.
