Study on the Diagnostic Value of Recombinant Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Fusion Protein Skin Test in the Diagnosis of Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Abstract：Objective:To introduce the skin test of recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein for the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis and evaluate its clinical value.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 236 suspected pulmonary tuberculosis patients admitted to People's Hospital of Macheng City from March 2022 to March 2024.All patients underwent the recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein skin test.The diagnostic results of the recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein skin test was analyzed based on the sputum smear or sputum culture results(gold standard)of Mycobacterium tuberculosis,and their diagnostic efficacy was calculated.A cost-benefit analysis was also conducted.Result:Referring to the results of sputum culture of Mycobacterium tuberculosis,184 of 236 suspected tuberculosis patients were diagnosed,(77.96%).There were 52 non tuberculosis patients(22.03%).In the skin test results of recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein,159 cases of tuberculosis patients were detected,accounting for 67.37%,and there were 77 non tuberculosis patients,(32.62%).The diagnostic sensitivity of recombinant mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein skin test was 85.86%(158/184),the specificity was 98.07%(51/52)and the accuracy was 88.55%(209/236),and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The cost of skin testing with recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein was relatively low(P＜0.05).Conclusion:In the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis,the recombinant Mycobacterium tuberculosis fusion protein skin test has the advantages of high diagnostic accuracy,simple operation,convenient observation,and low cost,and has reference and application value.
