Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of extracorporeal shock wave(ESWT)combined with hip muscle group training in the treatment of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain(CNLBP).Method:From August 2022 to August 2023,A total of 120 patients with CNLBP who admitted to the Rehabilitation Department of Foshan Fifth People's Hospital were selected as the research objects, they were divided into group A,group B and group C according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. All patients were given routine treatment such as health education, training posture guidance and physical therapy, group A was given ESWT treatment, group B was given hip muscle group training, and group C was given ESWT combined with hip muscle training, the degree of pain[visual analogue scale(VAS)],degree of dysfunction[Oswestry disability index(ODI)],lumbar range of motion(ROM)and quality of life were compared among three groups before and after treatment.Result:After treatment, the VAS scores and ODI scores of three groups were lower than those before treatment, and those of group C were lower than those of group A and group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment, the lumbar ROM,physical health(PCS)scores, mental health(MCS)scores and total scores in three groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in group C were higher than those in group A and group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:ESWT combined with hip muscle group training is more effective than the above two methods in the treatment of CNLBP patients, which can better reduce the degree of pain, restore joint ROM and improve the quality of life.
