Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of targeted therapy combined with radiotherapy on patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Method:A total of 102 patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma admitted to the First People's Hospital of Zunyi from January to December 2022 were selected.According to the randomization method, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was given radiotherapy, and the observation group was given targeted therapy on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy, oxidative stress indexes, quality of life and adverse reactions before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of recent treatment in the observation group(92.16%)was higher than that in the control group(70.59%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of nitric oxide(NO),superoxide dismutase(SOD)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of malondialdehyde(MDA)were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the incidences of abnormal liver function, gastrointestinal reactions, oral mucositis, coagulation abnormalities and rash between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of physiological function, role physical, physical pain, general health, energy, social function, emotional function and mental health were increased in the two groups, and the scores of physiological function, role physical, physical pain, general health, energy, social function, emotional function and mental health in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Targeted therapy combined with radiotherapy can improve the treatment effect of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma, improve the level of oxidative stress and improve the quality of life.
