Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Denosumab in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporotic vertebral fractures.Method:Eighty patients with postmenopausal osteoporotic vertebral fracture in the Department of Orthopedics of Xiamen Humanity Hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group of 40 cases and observation group of 40 cases. The control group was treated with percutaneous kyphoplasty. The observation group was treated with percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Denosumab.Bone mineral density, bone resorption and bone formation indexes, hip strength index, pain score, daily living ability score and incidence of new vertebral fractures were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, bone mineral density and hip joint strength index in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the pain score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the bone specific alkaline phosphatase in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the carboxy-terminal propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen in the serum was significantly higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the daily living ability score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were 2 cases(5.00%)of new vertebral fractures in the observation group, and 11 cases(27.50%)of new vertebral fractures in the control group, the incidence of new vertebral fractures in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.440,P=0.006).Conclusion:Percutaneous kyphoplasty combined with Denosumab can significantly reduce the pain of patients with postmenopausal osteoporotic vertebral fractures, effectively improve bone mineral density and vertebral strength index, and prevent the occurrence of new vertebral fractures.
