Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effect of early postoperative enteral nutrition on patients undergoing laparoscopic radical surgery of colorectal cancer. Method:A total of 98 patients with colorectal cancer who admitted to Zunyi First People's Hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 were selected as the research objects, the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. All patients were underwent laparoscopic radical surgery for colorectal cancer in our hospital, the control group was given early parenteral nutrition after operation, and the observation group was given early enteral nutrition after operation. The rehabilitation indexes, nutritional indexes, electrolytes, anthropometric indexes and postoperative complications were compared between two groups. Result:The time of postoperative exhaust, defecation and oral feeding in the observation group were earlier than those in the control group, and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);at 7 d after operation, the levels of serum total protein (TP),albumin (ALB),hemoglobin (Hb),transferrin (TF),potassium, sodium, chlorine and phosphorus in two groups were lower than those before operation, but those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);at discharge, the triceps skinfold thickness and body mass index in two groups were lower than those at admission, but those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:Early postoperative enteral nutrition for patients undergoing laparoscopic radical surgery for colorectal cancer is beneficial for improving nutritional status, reducing the occurrence of complications, and maintaining electrolyte levels.
