Efficacy of Montelukast Sodium Combined with Olopatadine in the Treatment of Chronic Urticaria

Abstract：Objective:To explore the efficacy of Montelukast Sodium combined with Olopatadine in the treatment of chronic urticaria. Method:A total of 80 patients with chronic urticaria admitted to the Dermatology Department of Yongchun County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July 2021 to December 2023 were selected. They were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Olopatadine and the observation group was treated with Montelukast Sodium on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy,immune function indexes,inflammatory factors before and after treatment and recurrence condition were compared between the two groups. Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment,CD3+and CD4+were increased in both groups,while CD8+and immunoglobulin E (IgE) were decreased in both groups,CD3+and CD4+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,while CD8+and IgE were lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of interleukin-4 (IL-4),interleukin-10 (IL-10) and interleukin-33 (IL-33) were decreased in both groups,while the levels of γ-interferon (IFN-γ) were increased,the levels of IL-4,IL-10 and IL-33 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the levels of IFN-γ were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:For patients with chronic urticaria,on the basis of Olopatadine drug treatment,combined with Montelukast Sodium,the total clinical effective rate can be significantly improved,the immune function of the body can be enhanced,and the serum inflammatory factor levels can be reduced,reduce recurrence rate.
