Abstract:Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of floating needle combined with extracorporeal shock wave in the treatment of knee joint adhesion. Method:Fifty-six patients with knee joint adhesion admitted to the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the 83rd Group Military Hospital of the People's Liberation Army of China from March 2022 to September 2023 were included. According to the order of treatment, they were divided into the control group (28 cases, training treatment) and the study group (28 cases, combined floating needle and extracorporeal shock wave treatment on the basis of the treatment of the control group). The flexion angle, elongation limitation, knee function and pain were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Result:The 56 patients were followed up for an average of (6.06±1.16) months, and there was no shedding case. After treatment, compared with the control group, the patients in the study group had smaller extension limitation degree, larger flexion angle, higher Lysholm score of knee joint, and lower visual analogue scale (VAS) score, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:On the basis of continuous passive joint exercise, the combination of floating needle and extracorporeal shock wave therapy could significantly increase the knee joint activity degree, relieve pain, thereby improve knee function.
