Abstract:Objective:To compare the effect of Foley catheter low small water bladder and low-dose Misoprostol in the induction of labor in full-term pregnant women. Method:A total of 80 full-term pregnant women who gave birth in Laibin People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into the conventional group and the exploratory group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The conventional group was given small dose Misoprostol, the exploratory group was given Foley catheter low small water bladder, the neonatal condition, related indicators of delivery process, cervical ripening effect, adverse maternal and infant outcomes and breastfeeding were compared between two groups. Result:There were no significant differences in the neonatal birth weight,5 min Apgar score, time from intervention to labor, total labor process and breastfeeding rate between two groups (P>0.05);the amount of postpartum hemorrhage in the exploratory group was less than that in the conventional group, the total effective rate of cervical ripening was higher than that in the conventional group, and the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes was lower than that in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:Compared with low-dose Misoprostol,Foley catheter low small water bladder shows better results in induction of labor in full-term pregnant women, especially in reducing postpartum hemorrhage, promoting cervical ripening, and reducing the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes.
