Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of fine silver needles in the treatment of patients with post-stroke complex regional pain syndrome type Ⅰ (CRPS-Ⅰ),and to explore its possible mechanism by detecting the contents of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and substance P (SP) in plasma. Method:A total of 110 patients who diagnosed with post-stroke CRPS-Ⅰ in the acupuncture rehabilitation clinic and hospitalization of Qiaoli Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Doumen District of Zhuhai City from January to December 2022 were selected as the research objects, the patients were randomly divided into fine silver needle group (the treatment group) and ordinary acupuncture group (the control group) according to the order of treatment,55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture, and the treatment group was treated with fine silver needles heat conduction therapy. The clinical efficacy, plasma CGRP,SP and visual analogue scale (VAS) scores were compared between two groups. Result:The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);after treatment, the CGRP levels of two groups were higher than those before treatment, the treatment group was higher than the control group, the SP levels and VAS scores of two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:The effect of fine silver needles in the treatment of patients with post-stroke CRPS-Ⅰ is significant, which can relieve pain and related inflammation reaction.
