Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of Metoprolol combined with Isosorbide Dinitrate and Aspirin in the treatment of elderly patients with unstable angina (UA) of coronary heart disease. Method:Sixty elderly patients with UA of coronary heart disease who admitted to the Department of Cardiology,Macheng People's Hospital from January 2021 to November 2023 were selected as the research objects, the patients were divided into the intervention group and the control group by random lottery, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Isosorbide Dinitrate and Aspirin, and the intervention group was treated with Metoprolol combined with Isosorbide Dinitrate and Aspirin. The clinical efficacy, angina pectoris, cardiac function and adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Result:The total effective rate of the intervention group was 96.67%,which was higher than 80.00% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);after treatment, the number of angina pectoris attacks in two groups were less than those before treatment, and that in the intervention group was less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);after treatment, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and creatine kinase levels of two groups were lower than those before treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction and cardiac output of two groups were higher than those before treatment, the left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and creatine kinase level of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group, the left ventricular ejection fraction and cardiac output of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:Metoprolol combined with Isosorbide Dinitrate and Aspirin has a significant effect for elderly patients with UA of coronary heart disease, which can reduce the number of angina pectoris attacks and improve cardiac function indicators, with high safety.
