Abstract:Objective:To analyze the effect of ulinastatin combined with prone mechanical ventilation on patients with severe pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Method:Clinical data of 80 patients with severe pneumonia with ARDS admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University from February 2020 to October 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods.40 patients receiving conventional treatment+prone mechanical ventilation were included in the control group, and 40 patients receiving conventional treatment+prone mechanical ventilation+ulinastatin were included in the observation group.Blood gas index, inflammatory factor level, vascular endothelial function and lung function were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, oxygen partial pressure(PaO2),carbon monoxide(CO),the pulmonary function indexes in the observation group.were higher than those in control group, and PaCO2,the levels of inflammatory factors,endothelin-1(ET-1)in the observation group were lower than those in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ulinastatin assisted prone mechanical ventilation can regulate blood gas analysis in severe pneumonia patients with ARDS,reduce inflammation, protect vascular endothelial function, and facilitate the recovery of lung function.
