The Clinical Efficacy of Yishen Jiangtang Drink Combined with Acupoint Application in Treating Patients with Type Ⅲ-Ⅳ Diabetic Nephropathy of Qi-Yin Deficiency Type

Abstract：Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical effect of Yishenjiangtangyin combined with acupoint application in the treatment of Qi-Yin deficiency type Ⅲ-Ⅳ diabetic nephropathy patients.Method:A total of 90 patients with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ diabetic nephropathy diagnosed with Qi-Yin deficiency in Nanping People's Hospital of Fujian Province from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as study objects and randomly divided into control group and study group,with 45 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Yishen Jiangtang Drink,and the study group was treated with Yishen Jiangtang Drink combined with acupoint application.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,laboratory indicators[fasting blood glucose(FPG)],postprandial 2 h blood glucose(2 hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc),24-hour urinary protein quantification(24 h-UTP),urinary albumin/creatinine ratio(UACR),serum creatinine(Scr),glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)],quality of life[Diabetic Quality of Life Specific Scale(DSQL)]and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment,TCM syndrome score,FPG,2 hPG,HbAlc,24 h-UTP,UACR,SCr level and DSQL scores of both groups were decreased,and the study group was lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the eGFR level of the two groups increased,and the study group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Yishen Jiangtang Drink combined with acupoint application can effectively improve Qi-Yin deficiency type Ⅲ-Ⅳ diabetic nephropathy patients.
