Abstract:Objective:To investigate the the types and risk factors of multidrug-resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis(MDR-MT)in patients with tuberculosis(TB)and type 2 diabetes(T2DM).Method:247 TB patients with T2DM treated in Central People's Hospital of Zhanjiang from July 2019 to April 2024 were selected as the study objects, and the composition ratio and type of MDR-MT were analyzed. The risk factors of MDR-MT were analyzed by binary logistic regression.Result:The proportion of MDR-MT was 25.10%(62 strains). There were 11 types of MDR-MT,of which 22.58%(14 strains)were simultaneously resistant to streptomycin(SM),isoniazid(INH),rifampicin(RFP)and ethambutol(EMB),and 16.13%(10 strains)were simultaneously resistant to SM,INH,RFP,EMB and Levofloxacin(LFX).Binary logistic regression analysis showed that retreated patients,HBA1c≥7%,diabetes complications, education level of high school or below all were risk factors for MDR-MT.Conclusion:There are many types of MDR-MT drug resistance in TB patients with T2DM,and simultaneous resistance to STR,INH,RFP and EMB is the most common. The independent risk factors for MDR-MT were retreated patients,HBA1C≥7%,diabetic complications, high school education or below, and hypoproteinemia.
