Abstract:Objective:To explore the correlation between C-reactive protein/albumin (CRP/ALB),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR),and platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) with systemic involvement and disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Method:A total of 136 RA patients admitted to Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the RA group, and 80 healthy people were selected as the control group during the same period.NLR,PLR and CRP/ALB tests were performed in both groups,NLR,PLR,CRP/ALB were compared between the two groups. And disease activity in RA group was evaluated and divided into active group and remission group.NLR,PLR,CRP/ALB and DAS28 score were compared between the active group and the remission group. The system involvement condition of the active group and the remission group was compared. The correlation between CRP/ALB,NLR,PLR and RA system involvement and disease activity was analyzed.Result:The levels of NLR,PLR and CRP/ALB in RA group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).According to DAS28 score,RA patients were divided into active group (97 cases) and remission group (39 cases). The NLR,PLR,CRP/ALB and DAS28 scores in the active group were higher than those in the remission group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There were 66 cases (68.04%) had the system affected in the active group and 16 cases (41.03%) had system affected in the remission group. The rate of system involvement in the active group was higher than that in the remission group, and the difference was statistically significant (x2=8.487,P=0.004).The blood and cardiovascular system involvement rates in the active group were higher than those in the remission group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that disease activity was positively correlated with CRP/ALB,NLR and PLR levels in RA patients (P<0.001),and systemic involvement was positively correlated with CRP/ALB,NLR and PLR levels in RA patients (P<0.05).Conclusion:The involvement of RA system was as high as 60.29%,and serum CRP/ALB,NLR and PLR were significantly highly expressed in RA patients, and the expression levels were closely related to disease activity.
