Abstract:Objective:To observe and analyze the effect of posterior short segment combined with unilateral fixation of injured vertebra on the changes of imaging parameters of injured vertebra. Method:A total of 106 patients with thoracolumbar fracture admitted to the spinal Department of Guihang Guiyang Hospital from March 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group (n=53) and observation group (n=53). The patients of control group were treated with 8-nail internal fixation across the injured vertebra in the long posterior segment plus interlaminae transversoid bone grafting, and The patients of observation group were treated with unilateral transvertebral arch bone grafting in the short posterior segment plus the injured vertebra. The perioperative indexes, the changes in imaging parameters of the injured vertebra and the improvement of symptoms were compared between the two groups. Result:The total operation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the total intraoperative blood loss was less than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the ratio of anterior vertebra height in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the kyphotic Cobb Angle was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). After treatment, the lumbar Dysfunction Index (ODI) score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion:In the treatment of thoracolumbar fracture, posterior short segment combined with unilateral fixation of the injured vertebra to the opposite transvertebral arch can improve perioperative indexes, alleviate clinical symptoms, and optimize imaging parameters of the injured vertebra, which is feasible.
