Abstract:Objective:To explore the image quality and Diagnostic efficiency of multi-slice spiral CT enhanced scanning of liver space occupying lesions.Method:A total of 92 patients with liver space occupying lesions who were admitted in Zhao'an County Hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected. All patients were underwent MSCT plain scan and MSCT enhanced scan, with clinical symptoms, pathology, and follow-up results as the gold standard. The image quality, diagnostic efficiency, and lesion detection status of different examination methods were compared, and the image characteristics of different lesions were analyzed.Result:The excellent image quality rate of MSCT enhanced scanning was 97.83%,which was higher than 90.22%of MSCT plain scanning, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among 92 patients with liver space occupying lesions,31 patients were confirmed positive and 61 patients were negative. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of MSCT plain scan were 74.19%,81.97%,67.65%,and 86.21%,respectively,while MSCT enhanced scan were 96.77%,95.08%,90.91%,and 98.31%,respectively,the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, and negative predictive value of MSCT enhanced scan were higher, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The detection accuracy rates of MSCT enhanced scan were higher than those of MSCT plain scan, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Hepatic hemangiomas contrast enhancement of arterial phase lesions with patchy or nodular edges, with arterial phase edge enhancement and venous phase edge enhancement developing towards the center. The liver cyst presenting as low-density shadow, and there was no obvious calcification or enhancement within the lesion.Focal nodular hyperplasia presents low-density or isodensity changes, with high-density shadows or central scar filling visible during enhanced scanning. The boundary of liver cancer was blurry, presenting as low-density shadows overall, with some areas showing isodensity or high-density shadows, the arterial phase had significant enhancement effect, while the venous phase had reduced degree of enhancement. Conclusion:MSCT enhanced scanning can improve image quality and assist physicians in accurately distinguishing the type of liver space occupying lesions, clearly showing the features of the lesion.
