Abstract:Objective:To investigate the expression of serum cardiac troponin I(cTnI)and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)in patients with sepsis complicated with cardiomyopathy and their prognostic value.Method:A total of 80 patients with sepsis combined with cardiomyopathy admitted to Beijing Changping Hospital from February 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study group, and 78 patients with sepsis alone admitted to Beijing Changping Hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The clinical data, serum cTnI and NT-proBNP levels of the two groups were compared. After 28 d of follow-up,the disease outcome was recorded, and the prognostic predictive value of sepsis complicated with cardiomyopathy was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Result:The systolic blood pressure and oxygenation index of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and lactic acid and the scores of acute physiology and chronic health evaluation systemⅡ(APACHEⅡ)were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum cTnI and NT-proBNP in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 28 d of follow-up,55 cases(68.75%)died and 25 cases(31.25%)survived in the study group, the levels of serum cTnI and NT-proBNP in the deceased were higher than those in the survivors, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of serum cTnI and NT-proBNP levels in predicting the prognosis of sepsis combined with cardiomyopathy was 0.854 and 0.897,respectively.Conclusion:Serum cTnI and NT-proBNP levels can reflect the condition of sepsis combined with cardiomyopathy, and can be used as prognostic indicators of sepsis combined with cardiomyopathy.
