Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of Irbesartan Combined with Metoprolol Succinate in the treatment of young and middle-aged hypertension patients.Method:A total of 100 young and middle-aged hypertension patients who admitted to Yuncheng Salt Lake District People's Hospital from July 2021 to January 2023 were selected as observation objects, the patients were divided into the control group(50 cases)and the study group(50 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with Irbesartan, while the study group was treated with Irbesartan combined with Metoprolol Succinate, the levels of heart rate(HR),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),systolic blood pressure(SBP),blood lipids[triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC)],fasting plasma glucose(FPG),uric acid(UA),renal function[blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serum creatinine(Scr)],liver function[aspartate transaminase(AST),alanine transaminase(ALT)]before and after treatment, total effective rate and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:Before treatment, there were no significant differences in HR,DBP and SBP between two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the HR,DBP and SBP of the study group were lower than those before treatment, the DBP and SBP of the control group were lower than those before treatment, and the HR,DBP and SBP of the study group after treatment were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of TG,TC,FPG,UA,BUN,Scr,AST and ALT between two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of dry cough and dizziness in the study group was 6.00%,compared to 10.00%in the control group, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Irbesartan combined with Metoprolol Succinate is effective in the treatment of young and middle-aged hypertension patients, which can further improve HR and blood pressure, and has no significant effect on blood lipid,FPG,UA levels and liver and kidney function, with fewer adverse reactions.
