Effect of Xiaoji Jianpi Decoction Combined with Omeprazole in the Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia in Childrern

Abstract：Objective:To explore the effect of Xiaoji Jianpi Decoction combined with Omeprazole in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD)in children.Method:A total of 120 children with FD admitted to Fuzhou Children's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.Control group was treated with Omeprazole,observation group was treated with Xiaoji Jianpi Decoction combined with Omeprazole.The total clinical effective rate,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score,nepean dyspepsia index(NDI),motilin(MLT),pepsinogen Ⅰ(PGⅠ),pepsinogen Ⅱ(PGⅡ)levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 88.33%,which was significantly higher than 73.33%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and observation group were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in NDI scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,NDI scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in serum MLT,PGⅠ and PGⅡ levels between two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,serum MLT level were higher than those before treatment,serum PGⅠ and PGⅡ levels were significantly lower than those before treatment;and the serum MLT level in observation group was higher than that in control group,and the serum PGⅠ and PGⅡ levels were lower than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 11.67%,which was lower than 16.67%in the control group,but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Xiaoji Jianpi Decoction combined with Omeprazole has good efficacy and safety in the treatment of children with FD,which can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms,improve quality of life,increase MLT level,decrease PGⅠ and PGⅡ levels.
