Research Progress in Tissue Regeneration of Salivary Gland

Abstract：Glandular atrophy due to salivary gland duct obstructive disease and Sjogren’s syndrome is a common Oral and maxillofacial disease,which mainly leads to a decrease in salivary secretion,impacting on the life quality of patient.Currently,it is a hot issues in clinical research that how to cure glandular tissue atrophy disease.In recent years,gland regeneration technology,to restore the shape and function of the gland,has gradually developed.It has provided a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of xerostomia,Sjogren's syndrome,salivary glands after radiation injury.Now the authoe,s do the review on the current research methods to provide a new way to treat the atrophy disease for salivary gland.
