The Influence of Vibration Perception Threshold in Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Patients by Epalrestat and Methylcobalamin Treatment

Abstract：Objective:To study the influence of Epalrestat combined with Methylcobalamin in the treatment of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy vibration perception threshold.Method:From January 2013 to December 2015,100 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy patients were selected as the research object,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by throwing a coin,50 cases in each group.The control group was given Mecobalamin,the observation group was given Mecobalamin and Epalrestat.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was 96%,it was significantly higher than 80% of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the vibration sensation threshold of the observation group was significantly lower after treatment (P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy by Mecobalamin and Epalrestat,has significant curative effect, can effectively improve the patient’s vibration perception threshold.
