Clinical Observation of Combination of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the Treatment of 62 Cases of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Patients

Abstract:Objective:To explore the curative effect of treating chronic pelvic inflammatory disease with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.Method:120 cases of chronic pelvic inflammation patients admitted to our hospital from February 2013 to February 2016 were randomly divided to the treatment group(62 cases) and the control group (58 cases).Patients in the control group were treated with antibiotic treatment,7 to 10 days for a course of treatment;the treatment group was given retention enema with traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine based on the therapy of the control group,and audio physiotherapy for 20 to 30 minutes after the enema,7 to 10 days for a course of treatment.Result:After the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment for 2 courses,29 cases were cured,21 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were improved,and 3 cases were ineffective in the treatmentgroup,the total effective rate of which was 95.16%.In the control group,18 cases were cured,17 cases were markedly effective,12 cases were improved,11 cases were ineffective,the total effective rate was 81.03%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is simple,effective,it has a clinical application value.
