Comparative Analysis of CRP Detection in Whole Blood and Plasma Samples
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the comparability and correlation between the results of C reactive protein detected by venous blood in whole blood and plasma.Method:From November 2014 to March 2015 in our hospital outpatient and inpatient 141 cases were randomly selected,2 EDTA-K2 anticoagulant tube were pumped,in which a tube for detection of the blood CRP content, another tube was centrifuged by 3500 r/min for 5 min,the plasma was used for the detection of plasma CRP levels, according to the detection of the blood CRP concentration, data for low value, median and high value group. The data were used for statistical analysis.Result:The data in the three groups were compared witht test, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the low, middle and high value group, there was a good correlation between whole blood CRP and plasma CRP,ther were 0.98,0.89,0.81,and the value of whole blood CRP and plasma CRP value had a good regression relationship(P<0.01).Conclusion:There is no significant difference in the results of CRP with whole blood and plasma samples, and the whole blood CRP and plasma CRP had good correlation and linear regression.CRP is more suitable for outpatient and emergency department, that is for the initial diagnosis.
