LU Chun
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the diagnosis value of MRI in early femoral head necrosis.Method:From January 2014 to November 2015,52 patients(66 hips) diagnosed with femoral head necrosis underwent total hip arthroplasty in our department were selected as the objects, all the patients were diagnosed by X-ray and MRI preoperatively, the positive rates of this two diagnostic methods were compared.Result:38 cases(51 hips) were diagnosed positively in 52 patients(66 hips) by X-ray,the positive rate was 73.1%(38/52),while the positive rate was 96.2%(50/52) by MRI.6 cases were misdiagnosed by X-ray, the misdiagnosis rate was 11.5%(6/52),while 2 cases were misdiagnosed by MRI,the misdiagnosis rate was 3.8%(2/52),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:MRI has higher sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of early femoral head necrosis, which is valuable in clinical application.
