Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of mediastinal tumor resection under thoracoscope in the treatment of mediastinal tumor. Method:The clinical data of 42 patients with mediastinum tumor of our hospital from March 2012 to March 2015 were retrospective analyzed and devided into two groups according to the different operation method,18 cases of the control group, who were treated with the traditional open heart surgery;while 24 cases of the observation group, who were given mediastinal tumor resection under the video-assisted thoracoscope. The difference of operation time, intraoperative blood loss, flow rate, length of hospital stay and postoperative complications between the two groups were compared.Result:The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative flow, and length of hospital stay of the 24 patients with mediastinum tumor in the observation group were significantly better than which of the control group after the thoracoscope treatment of mediastinal tumor resection, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The patients in observation group occurred 1 case of postoperative atelectasis and 1 case of arrhythmia, the incidence of complications was 8.3%,significantly lower than 33.3%of the control group, the difference was statistic significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The mediastinal tumor resection under video-assisted thoracoscope has curative clinical effect for mediastinal tumor with less surgical trauma and fewer complications, patients recover quickly,it is more worthy of clinical application.
