Clinical Analysis of 56 Cases of Henoch-schonlein Purpura in Children

Abstract:Objective:To summarize the clinical features of henoch-schonlein purpura(HSP) in 56 children.Method:56 children with HSP in our hospital from November 2013 to November 2014 were selected.Their clinical data were retrospectively summarized,classified and analyzed.Result:In 56 HSP children, the ratio of male to female was 1.43∶1.Age of onset was often on school-age.HSP often occurred in in winter and spring.69.64% of the patients were associated with infection. There were 100%,58.93%,51.79% and 28.57% of the patients involved in skin,digestive system,joint and kidneys symptoms respectively.Conclusion:Infections are the major incentives.HSP mainly happens in winter and spring with higher incidence of school-age children.The cases with gastrointestinal manifestations as first-onset symptom are easy to be misdiagnosed.The extent of kidney damage is the key to determine the prognosis.
