The Value of CTU in Diagnosis of Upper Urinary Tract Obstruction

Abstract：Objective:To explore the value of CTU in diagnosis of upper urinary tract obstruction.Method:112 cases of upper urinary tract obstruction diseases underwent CTU examination,the volume data of all patients were reconstructed with 3D reconstruction technigues included maximum intensity projection, multipie plane reformation,and volume rendering technigue,and curve plane reformation,and compared with IVP and MRU, the results of surgery and pathology were analyzed.Result:The diagnostic accuracy of CTU was 96.4%,significantly higher than IVP(82.2%) and MRU(89.3%),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The accuracy of CTU in the diagnosis of upper urinary tract obstruction was 100%.Conclusion:CTU completely and clearly shows the structure of the upper urinary tract and lead to the obstruction of the lesions and its shape,increase the rate of upper urinary tract obstruction diseases of localization and qualitative diagnosis,and provide a reliable basis for clinical conservative treatment or operation,as in patients with upper urinary tract obstruction disease the first choice of imaging examination method.
